How Amazon Commissions Work

When you click on an Amazon product link that was saved through Baggyfy and subsequently make a qualifying purchase on Amazon within the cookie window (typically 24 hours), Amazon may pay Baggyfy a small referral commission.

Here is a simple step-by-step explanation of how the affiliate link process works when you use Baggyfy:

Absolutely not. Affiliate commissions never cost you anything as a shopper. Here is exactly what happens financially:

• You visit a product page on Amazon through a Baggyfy link and see a price of ₹2,999.
• You add the product to your Amazon cart and complete the purchase at ₹2,999.
• Amazon charges you ₹2,999 — the exact same price any other customer would pay.
• Amazon then separately pays Baggyfy a referral commission (typically 1–10% depending on the product category) from Amazon's own revenue.
• Your total cost remains ₹2,999 — not a rupee more.

Baggyfy does not inflate product prices, add surcharges, or modify the checkout process in any way. We simply act as a referral source and earn a commission if Amazon chooses to pay one for a qualifying purchase.

One of the most important questions any user should ask about an affiliate platform is: "Does the potential to earn commissions affect what products are recommended?"

For Baggyfy, the answer is no — and here is why that is structurally impossible:

User-Driven Wishlists

Every product saved on Baggyfy is saved by individual users based on their own personal preferences and shopping decisions. Users discover products on Amazon, Flipkart, or any other store independently and then save those links to their Baggyfy wishlist. We do not tell users what to save.

No Paid Product Placements

Baggyfy does not accept payment from brands or stores to feature specific products in user wishlists. We do not promote specific products over others and have no mechanism to do so. Brands cannot pay us to appear in users' saved lists.

Admin Curated Collections

The Baggyfy team does publish curated product collections on our homepage. These collections are selected based on their quality, relevance, and value to Indian shoppers — not based on commission rates. If any curated collection contains affiliate links, it is covered by this disclosure.

Amazon Links You Save

When you save an Amazon product URL to your Baggyfy folder, our system automatically processes the URL to:

• Remove any existing affiliate tags or tracking parameters from the URL.
• Append our affiliate tag (baggyfy-21) to the URL.
• Store the clean, affiliate-tagged URL in your wishlist folder.

When you or anyone else clicks that saved link and visits the product on Amazon, the affiliate tag ensures that any qualifying purchase is attributed to Baggyfy.

Non-Amazon Links You Save

For product links from stores where we do not currently have an affiliate relationship (such as Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, etc.), the URLs are saved exactly as you paste them with no modification. We do not add any tracking parameters to non-affiliated store links.

Your Privacy

The affiliate tag modification process is automated and anonymous. We do not track individual user purchases, and we have no visibility into whether a specific user made a specific purchase. Amazon handles all commission tracking independently through their affiliate platform.
